KSG Аgro has launched a pilot project on transfer of one of the companies of the Group to anhydrous ammonia as the main nitrogenous fertilizer.

The reason for this decision is that with the same influence on the harvest the cost effectiveness of anhydrous ammonia is higher than with other forms of nitrogen fertilizers. Besides, the ammonia line is installed very closely to one of the companies of the Group – ATD Dneprovsky (Apostolovsky district of Dnepropetrovsk region).

The use of liquid ammonia enables to mechanize fully all processes related to transportation, filling, and application of fertilizers to land, and ensures a more equal distribution of nitrogen. This kind of nitrogen fertilizer has high vapour pressure, and, therefore, special equipment is required for using it.

Nowadays the Group has signed an agreement with the supplier on purchase of the installation for application of anhydrous ammonia.
