Within the biomass heating plants utilization program in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, KSG Agro agricultural holding completed construction and put into operation new pellet boiler station in Dnepr. Thus, volume of heat generation by holding was increased by 23% – from 3.45 to 4.25 MW.
The “Agroplaza” enterprise affiliated to the KSG Agro agricultural holding completed construction of new pellet boiler station providing heat supply to well-known “Miriada” shopping center in Dnepr with area of about 12 thousand sq. m. Project investment amount made about 1.5 million UAH.

Currently, boiler station is commissioned for operation. Boiler station power makes 0.8 MW. Boiler station operates on pellets made from plant production waste, which are less costly than imported gas.
Boiler station cost advantages were also considerably increased due to the fact that the state-of-the-art equipment operation allows temperature correction in the “Miriada” SC depending on the outside weather conditions.
Bringing into service of a new boiler station resulted in total KSG Agro heat generation increase by 23% – from 3.45 to 4.25 MW.
This is the fifth alternative fuel-fired boiler station commissioned over the past few years. In addition to one supplying heat to the shopping center in Dnepr, 3 ones are operated at the enterprise’s pig-breeding farm, and 1 – at the rural school.
