Climate change in the Dnipropetrovsk region and the related need to introduce gentle soil treatment technologies under arid conditions have become the main reasons for the renewal of the KSG Agro fleet.

Acquired by the agricultural holding the newest samples of American agrotechnics allow not only to cultivate the soil sparingly but also to increase the yield per hectare.

Thanks to the contract signed by KSG Agro for the purchase of American agricultural equipment produced by TITAN MAHINERY Inc., the KSG Agro’s farms received the newest agrotechnics – telescopic loaders Agri Farmer, caterpillar tractor Case IH Steiger 600, units for preseeding treatment of Great Plains 4000 TM (Turbo Max) and vertical tillage – Great Plains Max-Chisel already at the end of September.

“Climatic changes in the Dnipropetrovsk region have led to the prevalence of dry weather, which requires a change in traditional approaches to agricultural land processing,” says Sergey Kasyanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro. “That’s why we renewed our park with agrotechnics, which allows us to gently treat the soil in drought conditions, while increasing the yield per hectare.”

“It is gratifying that KSG Agro agri-holding was one of the first in the region to provide its farms with the know-how for vertical tillage that enables them to accumulate all the moisture in the soil during the growing season and between such periods, and also significantly increase the yields” , – commented Vladimir Eremenok, the director of the department of business development and introduction of new technologies at TITAN MAHINERY Inc. According to him, the use of Case IH Steiger caterpillar with a capacity of 600 horsepower, by the way, the largest model used by the Ukrainian agricultural holdings, allows to ensure high productivity and quality of tillage.

Currently, the acquired agricultural equipment is distributed among the farms that are part of the holding.
