KSG Agro has completed the sowing campaign of winter crops: wheat, barley and rapeseed.
The farms that are part of KSG Agro Agricultural Holding have completed the sowing campaign of winter crops. As part of the campaign, 9,463 hectares were sown, in particular the following crops:
- wheat – 7328 ha,
- barley – 1775 ha,
- rapeseed – 360 ha.
“The sowing campaign ran dry, however, the subsequent rains corrected the situation and contributed to its successful implementation and obtaining numerous, good-quality seedlings,” comments Dmitry Yemelchenko, Production Director at KSG Agro Agricultural Holding, “According to our estimates, all 100% of the seedlings are in excellent condition. The effective use of comprehensive fertilizers makes it possible to say that the crops will winter well and will actively develop. We paid special attention to seeds, using a highly productive seed fund of domestic and foreign selection, and also laid out high-quality plots.”
Top-class agricultural machinery was used during the sowing campaign. In particular:
- John Deere 1890 sowing complexes – 5 units,
- sowing complexes with disc harrows – 5 units,
- logistics transport, delivering seeds and fertilizers – 12 units.
